You'll need to have some experience of
photoshop to follow this tutorial.
You will probably get a complete different outcome than me.
In this tutorial it's much "add this, add that", but hopefully you'll get the idea.
Final Outcome:
![]()
Start off with making a new document. Add an orange
and yellow gradient.
Take a nice sprite and paste it into your document.
Then add something like I do if you look down. I used some
liquified pen tool things I made in Illustrator.
Then uncheck that layer. Make a new layer and apply image.
Then ckeck that layer with that pentooling again. After that
you go to layer - create clipping mask. Move around that
applied image til it looks good.
Now make a new layer and apply image. Then go to filter -
distort - displace and choose one of your old psd's.
Move this layer to the bottom but infront of the gradient.
Add some pentool lines behind the sprite and do that same
thing as above.
Do that same thing again.
Duplicate that sprite and smudge it some. Set that layer to
hue.
Add some lines and do the same as we did with that liquified
pentooling.
Make a new layer and apply image, then take the smudge
tool and smudge some. set this layer to lighten.
Add some random lines and things.
Then add something like I do if you look down. I used some
liquified pen tool things I made.
Then uncheck that layer. Make a new layer and apply image.
Then ckeck that layer with that pentooling again. After that
you go to layer - create clipping mask. Move around that
applied image til it looks good.
Do some retuoching and your done.
