In this tutorial we are going to make a professional metallic navigation bar.

Start out by creating a blank document. ( Width=500px , Height=200px)
Use [ Rectangle Tool (U)

] to draw a rectangle as shown.

Right click on its layer and click on [ Resterize Layer ].

Select the [ Polygonal lasso tool (L)

]
Make a selection as shown.

You can customize the selection for different templates.

Now press 'Delete' key.
