Create a smiley icon
In this tutorial we are going to make an stylish smiley.
Start out by creating a blank document.
Use the [ Elliptical Marquee Tool (M) ] to create a circle selection.
Press Ctrl + N to create a new layer.
Click on the [Gradient Tool (G)
].I used these colors but you can use you own.
Make a gradient as shown.
Result:
Making Layer Style
Double click the layer or go to Layers->Blending options and apply settings as shown.
Result:
Now we are going to make eyes of smiley
Use [ Ellipse Tool (U) ] to create a circle.
Right click on its layer and click on [ Resterize Layer ].
Copy this layer for second eye.
Now user previous tools and create shape below.
Rasterize its layer.
Drag and drop 'w1' layer under 'eye2' layer.
