Paper Style Navigation Bar

In this tutorials we are going to make a paper style navigation bar.

Paper Style Navigation Bar

Making Layer Style for paper shape
Double click the layer or go to Layers->Blending options and apply settings as shown.



Result:



Use [ Rectangle Tool (U) ] to draw a rectangle as shown.





Making Layer Style
Double click the layer or go to Layers->Blending options and apply settings as shown ...





And use [ Rectangular marquee tool (M) ] to make a rectangle selection.



Set color to #848484.




Press Ctrl + N to create a new layer.



Use [ Paint Bucket Tool (G) ] for filling selection area.



Set opacity of this layers to 10%



Result:



 Use [ Rectangular marquee tool (M) ] to make a rectangle selection.



Set color to #848484




Press Ctrl + N to create a new layer.



Use [ Paint Bucket Tool (G) ] for filling selection area.



Set opacity of this layers to 40%



Result:



Go to layers panel and drag Layer 4 then hold down Alt key and click between 2 layers.



Result:
