Make your own 3d logo using this simple tutorial.

Here is the final result:




Start this tutorial by making a new document.

Click on [ Rectangular Marquee Tool ] and make a selection (any size you like).

Press Ctrl + T and right click then click Skew.

Use the "Skew" as shown.

Now, make a new layer and use  [ Gradient Tool (G) ] to make a gradient as shown below.

Make a selection as shown.



Go to background layer.

Press Ctrl + T and right click then click Distort.



Result :



Press Ctrl + T and right click then click Skew .



Result :



Also you can use [ Polygonal lasso tool (L) ] for doing that.
See below:



Now, make a new layer and make a gradient as you made in above.






Make a new layer.

Follow pictures.





Your result should be like this:




Now, you should add your own letter to logo.

Press "T" key for typing your letter.



When you added your letter, right click on its layer and click "Rasterize Type".

Press Ctrl + T and right click then click Skew.

You should use Skew tool  to fit it as shown.



Result : 




Now drop all layers of logo to a new "Group".
Make a copy of new group.



Press Ctrl+E.



Press Ctrl + T and right click then click Flip Vertical.

Now rotate it as shown below.



Result



When the reflection layer is selected, click on "Add layer mask" icon.



Now, click on  [ Gradient Tool (G) ].



Make a gradient as shown.



Finally your result should be like this:

7. Hey, Nice stuff, but how do u make it so that the copied shadow doesn't overlap the main copy? In other words, how do you make the white parts see-through? help XD
