Learn how to design an old book using photoshop
Here's the final result:
Start out by creating a blank document.
Use [ Rectangle Tool (U)
] to draw a rectangle as shown.
Right click on its layer and click on [ Resterize Layer ].
Press Ctrl + T and right click and choose Warp.
Result : 
Press Ctrl + T and right click and choose Skew.
Result : 
Make its Style
Double click the layer or go to Layers->Blending options and apply settings as shown.
Result :
Hold down Ctrl than click on its layer to make selection of it.
click on [ Rectangular Marquee Tool (M) ] and make a selection as shown (use Alt key for subtraction).
Result :
Press Ctrl + N to create a new layer.
Choose brush tool and use following brush as shown
Change its opacity.
Result :
Hold down Ctrl than click on its layer to make selection of it.
click on [ Rectangular Marquee Tool (M) ] and make a selection as shown (use Alt key for subtraction).
Press Ctrl + N to create a new layer.
Use following gradient for making its gradient..jpg)
drag as shown
set its opcaity to 40%.
Result :
Make copy of your result and make your old book :)
