Make a new Photoshop icon







 Now pick [ Gradient Tool (G) ] and apply settings as shown.



Use [ Lock transparent pixels ] button to lock the layer.



 Draw as shown.

2. Well... no... That's probably why the tutorial is called 'a NEW Photoshop icon...' It's nice... I would probably add a little dropshadow to the fern/feather, so it would look less flat...

3. Looks too flat. Gradient is unrealistic. Ironic how the "avitors" are all Calvins with *negative* facial expressions.

5. Of course the icon doesn't look like that...he's demonstrating how to make a NEW one...you guys need to stop being so closed minded and see that he's so far done more than you have.
